The purpose of the design of logic gates is to speedup up the operation of mechanical devices via electronic operations using laws such as Binary, and Moose. This leads to the discovery and deployment of logical gates and their operation by Charles B and George B.

These logic gates are classified into two types, basic (AND, OR< NOT) and universal (NAND, NOR). A NOR gate is a universal logic gate that is a combo of NOT and OR logic gates. It is also called NOT OR gate or Negated OR gate.

The output of this logic gate is logic low when either of the inputs is low, and high when both are low. NOR gates are classified into 3 types namely 2 inputs, 3 inputs, and multiple inputs. They can also be implemented using MUC, or transistor implementation.

The applications of the NOR gate include a mixer tank which is a 3-input NOR gate. The advantages of NOR gate include economic, less fabrication, and simplex.
