This article lists 100 NanoTechnology MCQs for Engineering Students. All the NanoTechnology Questions & Answers given below includes solution and link wherever possible to the relevant topic. This is helpful for users who are preparing for their exams, interviews, or professionals who would like to brush up on the fundamentals of nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology means any technology on a nanoscale that has applications in the real world. Nanotechnology is the science of building small devices or components, it’s pretty difficult to imagine how small a nanometer fir example a tip of a pen is around a million nanometers wide, a single sheet of paper is around seventy-five thousand nanometers thick, a human hair is around fifty thousand nanometers thick.

The top-down technique and bottom-up technique are two main approaches in nanotechnology. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy are tools for the characterization of nanoparticles. The ball spinning, vapor deposition, sputtering, and Solgel are the methods to synthesize nanomaterials.

The molecules, DNA, virus, etc are measured in nanometers. Nanotechnology in the agriculture field is used for crop production, soil improvement, precision farming, and crop improvement. The advantages of nanotechnology are;  more flexible, lightweight, more efficient, and smaller in size.

The type of nanomaterials produced at the nanoscale can be in zero, one, and two dimensions. The scanning tunneling microscopy and atomic force microscopy were used for roughness measurement and the piezoresponse force microscopy was used to measure nanoscale topography.
