This article lists 50 Wien Bridge Oscillator MCQs for Engineering Students. All the Wien Bridge Oscillator Questions & Answers given below includes solution and link wherever possible to the relevant topic. This is helpful for users who are preparing for their exams, interviews, or professionals who would like to brush up on the fundamentals of the Wien bridge oscillator.

The Wein bridge oscillators are two-stage RC amplifier circuit, it is used to find unknown values of the components. In most cases, this oscillator is used in the audio. The maximum output frequency of the Wein bridge oscillator is 1 MHz and this frequency is from a phase shift oscillator and the total phase shift of the oscillator is from 360 or 0 degrees.

The Wien bridge oscillator is a type of electronic oscillator that produces sinewaves. This oscillator has low-frequency distortion and high quality of resonant frequency in the tuning. The oscillators are circuits that are used for the generation of oscillations at the output and those oscillations are nothing but AC signals.

The oscillators do not use any input signal for producing the output signal but it uses the power supply and as long as the power supply is available the oscillators produce signals at the output. The circuit of the Wein bridge oscillators has lead and lag networks. The lags in the phase shift increase the frequency and the leads in the  shift decrease the frequency

The advantage of the Wien bridge oscillator is that the achievement of variable frequency is easy and it provides a good quality of sine wave at the output. The disadvantage of the Wien bridge oscillator is it requires more number of amplifier stages and it has poor frequency stability.
