Electronics is a branch that deals with the flow of charge carriers in diodes as well as FETs and BJT’s. The analog circuits, digital circuits, and mixed-signal circuits are the type of electronic circuits. The analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits all are types of electronic circuits. The analog electronics are bigger, consist of distortion & noise, and consume more power.

When we look at electronic gadgets which contain digital and analog circuitry, then they primarily require DC supply, so the supply that we get to our homes and laboratories are the line supplies which is AC. In analog circuits, the input and output will be in analog format, and the circuits will consist of semiconductor devices.

The input and output are in digital format in digital circuits whereas in analog circuits both output and inputs will be in analog format, whereas in the mixed-signal circuit the input is analog and the output is digital or the input will be digital output will be analog.

The analog signals use a continuous range of values to represent the information. The human voice in the air, analog electronic devices are a few examples of analog signals, and the analog signals are stored in the form of wave signals.

The analog electronics help to capture the data from a system whereas the power electronics help to operate the system and they have very low electrical safety hazards whereas the power electronics have a high electrical safety hazard.
